Inauguration of the new sand-lime brick factory in Yalutorovsk (area of Tymenskaya)

Yalutorovsk 2 Jun 2011 - On 14 April, 2011, the inauguration of the first sand-lime brick factory took place in Yalutorovsk, located approx. 75 km from Tymen.

One of the guests of honour, who cut the red ribbon, was the governor of the Tymenskaya region, Mr. W.W: Yakuschew.

After the ceremonial part of the inauguration, reliability and economic viability of the Masa-Henke plant were demonstrated. Guests and journalists could watch the manufacture of the first sand-lime bricks.

The sand-lime press HDP 800 works with a double-sided compression effect. For the future an extension of the factory is planned in two stages – a further HDP 800 press as well as a HDP 1200 press shall be bought.

The new factory belongs to the building material company “Porewit”. Apart from sand-lime bricks and sand-lime blocks, aerated concrete blocks will also be produced here. (The equipment for this was also delivered by Masa-Henke.)

On 12 - 13 October, 2011, a visit of the factory “Powerit” will take place as part of the 5th annual conference “SILIKATex – Development of the sand-lime brick manufacture in Russia”.
