Extension of the AAC plant in Dnepropetrovsk
12 sept. 2013 - Extension of the AAC plant in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, from a daily capacity of 1000 m³ to 1400 m³ completed.
8th June, 2012
The MASA AAC plant "UDK Gazbeton" started operation at the end of 2010, and in summer 2011 already, the investors decided to extend the production capacity.
Since March 2012, the plant works with a daily capacity of 1400 m³. Right from the start of this project, the possibility for an extension had been considered in the plant layout, so that the actual extension did not cause any problems. The number of autoclaves was increased from six to eight, and the corresponding pulling plants were installed. For a faster loading and unloading of the hardening area, an additional manipulator was installed. All other plant components just required the cycle times to be adapted to the higher capacity.
UDK Gazbeton carried out most of the mechanical and electrical installation works of the additional plant components themselves, based on instructions given by MASA GmbH. All these works were carried out parallel to the normal production process, so there was hardly any loss of production.
Such a smooth process is only possible when both partners harmonize. Here, the MASA concept to name a project manager directly after conclusion of the contract who is responsible for the technical conducting of the project and keeping into touch with the customer worked out.
In this case, the UDK team closely cooperated with the MASA project manager Mr Frank Schubert. Thus, excellent results could be achieved in the shortest possible time.
