Asian Concreto successful with Masa plant for years
Impressive Nepal visit for Frank ReschkeAndernach 10 Jul 2024 - Asian Concreto invested in Masa plant technology almost seven years ago and has rapidly developed into Nepal's largest concrete block and paver manufacturer. The popular products are now also an export hit for India. Frank Reschke recently travelled to Bhairawaha to see the success of the Nepalese company for himself.
In the dynamic landscape of Nepal's construction industry, the partnership between Asian Concreto and Masa GmbH is a good example of innovative strength and efficiency.
The ISO 9001:2015 certified company Asian Concreto Pvt. Ltd. stands out in two respects. Firstly, the first ever Masa production plant in Nepal was installed at the Bhairawaha site. More importantly, however, Asian Concreto has one thing above all else with its Masa production plant: Success.
The location of the facility near the border between Nepal and India was strategically chosen as it offers quick access to suitable raw materials and short export routes for the finished products to the neighbouring country. These are favourable external conditions for an investment in modern technology from Germany.
Masa production plant for quality and efficiency
Masa planned and built a production plant for Asian Concreto that was customised to the market-specific requirements, including the dosing and mixing technology. When designing the plant, the Masa team took into account the scope for product-specific expansion options from the outset. Asian Concreto has been producing pavers on the Masa L 9.1 universal machine in a daily two-shift operation since 2018. Each of these high-class products requires gentle and efficient handling: Equipped with advanced servo technology, the Masa Ring Plant takes over the automated further processing cycle of the fresh products right up to the ready-packed unit.
Quality and efficiency - the Masa plant offers the company the best opportunities to serve the market with high-quality products. Masa also supports Asian Concreto's constant endeavours to maintain a high level of process technology with various training offers.
Satisfaction on both sides
In April 2024, Frank Reschke, Managing Director of Masa GmbH, visited the plant in Bhairawaha together with Omesh Nair, the responsible contact person at the Masa Sales Office India, to see the success of the Nepalese company for himself. Asian Concreto was very satisfied after the inspection, especially as the Masa team explicitly emphasised the condition and efficient operation of the plant during the inspection.
For Frank Reschke, there is no question: “With determined perseverance, commitment and discipline, a company has positioned itself here that is certain to achieve further goals. We at Masa have been accompanying Asian Concreto on this path for several years now. We have always seen ourselves as an advisory business partner that seeks open dialogue.”
The management of Asian Concreto certainly appreciates this. “Frank and Omesh understand very well what is really relevant for us. We have already spoken honestly with Masa about opportunities and risks in the past. The success proves us right! We are currently discussing options that will allow us to expand our product portfolio and capacities realistically,” emphasises Akaassh Jatia, Executive Director of Asian Concreto.
