Masa Amplitude Monitoring featured in BFT
Understand vibrations, identify patterns, optimise processesAndernach 13 Jul 2026 - At the SLG Plant Managers’ Conference 2026, Markus Feix, Head of Customer Training and Customer Hotline at Masa, provided insights into vibration theory and Masa Amplitude Monitoring – an analysis tool for concrete block and paver making machines. The key topics of his presentation have now been published in a feature article in BFT International (07/2026).
Masa Amplitude Monitoring has been developed to analyse the vibration behaviour of a machine’s vibrating table and detect irregularities at an early stage. The system uses sensors mounted at the four corners beneath the empty vibrating table to measure amplitudes and vibration patterns. The collected data is transmitted to the plant control system, where it is stored, visualised and compared with previous measurements. This enables plant operators to assess the condition of critical machine components and identify potential issues before they affect production quality.
A key focus of the analysis is the evaluation of amplitude balance and harmonicity. Uniform and harmonic vibrations are essential for consistent mould filling, homogeneous material distribution and reproducible compaction. Deviations can indicate wear of rubber buffers, damage to the vibrating table or other mechanical issues, all of which may negatively impact product quality and machine performance.
Visualisation via Masa Amplitude Monitoring: harmonic vibrations of the vibration table
In addition, it provides an outlook on future developments, including the application of advanced mathematical evaluation methods and AI-supported approaches for vibration data analysis.

It's a long way from raw materials through the mixture to the finished stone. Many plant components are involved in this process. Only if the system components are matched, can one be assured of a smooth process and economical operation of the block and paver making plant.
The manufacturing of autoclaved aerated concrete products demands high standards for mixing and dosing of the aggregates, the control of the fermentation process and the control of each production step. Masa's aerated concrete installations are proven advanced technology processes, designed according to customers specific requirements. This approach allows complete solutions to ensure highly efficient, optimised processes resulting in consistent final product quality.
It's a long way from raw materials through the mixture to the finished sand lime bricks. Many plant components are involved in this process. Only if the system components are matched, can one be assured of a smooth process and economical operation of the sand lime brick production plant.
It's a long way from raw materials over mixture to the finished (Kerb)stone. Masa Kerbstone presses were developed to fulfill among other criteria, the special requirements of the "British Standard" kerbstones. This "British Standard" is still a condition in countries of the Middle East and the UK.
