Masa trainees on tour
Visit to a sand lime and AAC making factoryPorta Westfalica 23 Oct 2020 - As a company providing vocational training approved by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Masa has trained junior employees in various fields for many years. Thus, Masa can provide the required manpower and secure the company future. When the young people have completed their training, their professional career is supported further on.
At the Porta Westfalica works, eight young people are presently trained in the fields of industrial mechanics, energy electronics, technical product design and industrial management assistance.
Practical relevance is important for the training. Therefore, the trainees were given the opportunity to see Masa equipment in operation in a real production plant. In October 2020, they visited a factory for building material products together with their training manager and learned a lot about the manufacture of aerated concrete.
They also saw the section for the manufacture of sand lime bricks that is, among others, equipped with two big sand lime brick presses type HDP 1200 Jumbo.
To complete the factory tour, there was another highlight waiting for the participants: A fully automatic state-of-the-art Masa plant for the manufacture of fitting pieces.
Altogether, the tour was an impressive experience.
