New building for spare parts: Construction work is progressing quickly
Andernach 9 Jan 2017 - Masa continuously works on development as one of its key to success. One current focus is improved optimization of the spare parts and logistics. Masa customers will benefit from the improved centralization and streamling of the spare parts stock and organization systems. The foundation stone was laid in the planning and commencement of construction of a new spare parts storage.
With a symbolic ground-breaking, Udo Klaussner, Managing Director of Masa, and Frank Reschke, Sales Director and Member of the Management board, launched the construction of the new building in October 2016. Since then the construction is progressing on schedule.
The 740m2 building is located on company grounds in Andernach. For optimal delivery to customers, Masa invests in the latest logistical solutions.
Inside the building there will be an office area for the staff of the spare parts and shipping department. From here the spare parts inquiries will be received, processed and shipped.
With the new building and centralization system, Masa expects significant improvements, in order execution, packing and shipping of spare parts. The move into the new building is planned for spring 2017.
