Highly compressed kerbstones.
The Masa WP 03 is a fully automatic 3-station turntable press for the production of concrete kerbstones according to the" British Standard" pressing method. Because of the arrangement of 3 mother moulds on the turntable, filling, compacting and removal from the mould take place simultaneously, resulting in shorter cycle times compared to the Masa kerbstone press WP 01.
The press consists of the following major components:
Dosing and filling system: The system ensures individual adjustment of the required amount of concrete. It consists of a intermediate silo and the actual dosing. The dosing unit consists of an additional intermediate silo, distance frame, pusher and dosing flaps.
Turntable and pressing station: The turntable includes three mother moulds. Each cycle a mould moves to the pressing station. After centering the mould the concrete is then compacted at a high pressure in the mould. The excess water is then removed by means of an attached perforated plate which is fixed on the tamper head and on the bottom of the mould (also called matrix) with appropriate paper filter. The perforated plate located on the bottom is executed depending on the stone profile. The working pressure can be adjusted according to the product size.
Take off station: The product is hydraulically driven out of the mould and placed on a transport pallet by vacuum take off device.
Individual distance frame or complete dosing units (for the realization of shorter downtimes) for the production of different kerbstones are available as an option.
