Compaction
In the hydraulic Masa presses, the sand lime compound is pressed to fresh bricks. When the mould has been filled, the sand lime compound is compacted to the required final height of the bricks with hydraulic cylinders by means of one-sided or double-sided application of pressure. All relevant parameters for this process are automatically monitored by the press and adjusted by the control system, if necessary, so that a constantly high product quality is achieved.
Whether one-sided or double-sided compaction is chosen, mainly depends on the required brick sizes and the production capacity.
