Andernach, Germany 16 sept. 2019 - At the end of August 2019, the second and third year apprentices of all apprenticeships at Masa GmbH (Andernach) and another Masa employee were able to experience the automated production of concrete blocks up close.

For this purpose, a long-standing partner of Masa GmbH once again opened the doors of its production facilities: At regular intervals, EHL AG, headquartered in Kruft, Germany, makes it possible to visit the concrete block production plant in Kretz. Here, the long-established company EHL has been successfully producing high-quality concrete blocks for years, with the use of Masa block making machines and Masa handling equipment.

The this year's tour was initiated by the Youth and Trainee Representation (JAV) of Masa. Markus Feix (Head of Customer Training) was responsible for implementation and support. Jackie Phan (Chairman JAV) and Robert Reichmann (Project Manager Masa GmbH) also accompanied the event.

The interesting on-site visit took place under the direction of the responsible plant manager, whereby Robert Reichmann and Markus Feix were able to contribute a great deal of additional information.

The participants were impressed by the size of the plant and the easily recognizable individual production steps within the block production process. The intelligent interaction of the various plant components and the technical sequence in the block production plant were made clear and could be viewed in detail during running production.

All participants were convinced of the benefit and learning effect of the tour, as, among other things, knowledge of the production process, the tasks of the plant components, the composition of concrete blocks with and without face mix layer as well as the design of different recipes could be clearly conveyed.
