MASA GmbH, the pioneer of automated building materials machinery manufacturer, with more than 100 years’ experience, inaugurated its 5th manufacturing plant in Bangalore, India on 14th December 2012. “We want to be local as much as possible to our customers” says Mr.Frank Reschke, Sales Director, MASA GmbH.

Why MASA decided to establish a manufacturing facility in India?

MASA have machine manufacturing factories in Germany, Korea and China. We established our sales and service center in Bangalore in 2007. Lately we identified that we can grow catering to lower segments of the market by manufacturing smaller machines locally which produce better quality products and more durable and safe to operate than what is available currently in this region. Also, this facility will offer local technical and spare parts support for our existing and future customers. We want to be local as much as possible to our customers in this part of the world without compromising quality, safety and reliability of our machines. Also our decision to invest more in India was influenced by the steady economic growth and infrastructure needs required in India.

The Yellow and Blue factory stands out. What is the magic of MASA colors?

Chronomatically, yellow symbolizes wisdom, creativity and intelligence whereas blue symbolizes inspiration, sincerity and determination. When these two colors merge, it brings reliability and excellence. That’s exactly what we offer through our products. These colors are ambassadors of our products.

What all are you planning to have in this facility?

As you see, we have this factory situated in a fair size block with 10000 Sq.Ft factory shed and enough room for expansion in the future. We will have our national head office based out of here and also will have spare parts and small machine manufacturing facility here. We have already established our regional office in Mumbai to cater the needs of customers in western India and planning to establish in other metros in the near future to offer local services to our customers across India.

What is the secret of MASA leadership?

We always endeavor to supply the best machines and solutions to our customers. The industry placed us higher from the crowd because of our quality, consistency and reliability in word and deed. We make sure that we deliver what we promise. Also, we don’t discriminate between countries or customers. The machines we will make in India will be sold across the world and will be produced to one global standard which will comply to the standards of any country.

Before we wrap up, how do MASA see the India market?

We see huge potential in India due to the immediate need of infrastructure development all around the country. Our recent escalation in investments in this region is an assurance that we believe in this potential and we are here for a long term. Mass production capacity plants like MASA is a necessity in India now due to the mammoth development required within short period. MASA machines supply high volume concrete products with consistency in quality and texture.
