Masa Machine a Highlight of Concrete Show
Sao Paulo 27 oct. 2010 -
At the 4th Concrete Show held the end of August, 2010 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Masa-AG, of Andernach, Germany showcased a XL 9.2 machine which had attendees' attention and curiosity beyond those with an interest in making concrete blocks and pavers.
The machine, which will begin work at a new complete Masa plant for EDURIC near Rio de Janeiro, is equipped with the revolutionary aluminum vibration table. This same technological advancement was part of a live demonstration at Masa's stand in Bauma, Munich, in April, 2010.
In Brazil, economic growth continues to be the envy of most developed economies and many concrete block and paver producers are discovering that they need the confidence in technology to obtain greater outputs and reliability to lower their marginal costs. Masa's large production pallet models have proved over the last decades their reliability and superiority resulting in economic advantages for their owners.
The Brazilian Concrete Show had an increase in attendance of 48% from 2009. The XL, with a pallet size of 1.4 m x 1.3 m, which produces 24 blocks 14x19x39cm per cycle was a piece of machinery that many producers have never witnessed before. Its overall sheer size and robust construction was something to behold for the average visitor, many of whom just wanted their picture taken with the machine.
To enable Masa to bring its technology to Brazil in an efficient, localized supply and support framework, Masa has entered into a partnership with Piorotti in Brazil, a leading provider of products, engineering, and support services for the concrete products industry.
