Assembly of the AAC plant in Thailand has commenced

At the moment, Thailand is one of the most dynamic building materials markets in the world. The building material aerated concrete achieves the most considerable growth rates. Diamond Building Products Public Company Limited (DBP) have realized this development early and have chosen MASA GmbH as their perfect partner to establish an aerated concrete block making plant. In the first stage, the plant will have an annual production capacity of approx. 300.000 m³.
DBP have chosen two companies to supply the complete machine and steel construction equipment. MASA GmbH have taken over the management responsibilities and support their Thai partner in technical questions. The local supply mainly comprises the manufacture of steel constructions, but also the procurement and installation of important components, eg. autoclaves.
In the first half of the year, the foundations and the production buildings were prepared, now, the installation of the machines and steel components has commenced. Thanks to the partnership and good cooperation between DBP and MASA GmbH and the implementation of an effective project management system, the schedule for the installation of the plant could be optimized. The project was divided into several phases. Thus, the components can be installed step by step while in other areas the foundation and building works are carried on.
To make sure that we do not lose track of the mutual goal - the fast completion of the plant - the schedule is reviewed and adjusted regularly. Thus, the most important milestones on the way to a successful start of the plant are permanently kept in view.
